Challenge
Complex, multi-department organizations such as Housing use their website like filing cabinets where each drawer is maintained by a different staff member who has their own method of organization. As a result, these sites tend to represent an inward-looking patchwork of information.
Solution
OJC Technologies partnered with Housing staff to establish the foundation for a new site which is usercentered in design, organization, and content. We interviewed all their stakeholders, held public meetings, and created a site that anticipates a user’s every move and meets the departments’ varied needs. Using our intimate experience working on large university projects over the past ten years, OJC designed a compelling site with a unified identity, and helped select and implement the appropriate content management tool for Housing staff.
